Bright skies, warm breezes and longer days mean it’s time for a good spring cleaning. We always start in the bedrooms, stripping beds down to the bare mattress. We clean comforters, dust ruffles, pillow shams, even area rugs and curtains. Launder everything washable and send the rest to us for professional cleaning. Whether you choose the classic, pesko, puff, crown or flower fold, your look in a blazer or suit jacket is always smarter with a pocket square. The splash of color and texture adds style and splash of personal expression. The quickest is a puff: lay the fabric flat, pick up the center, form a ring with thumb and index finger of other hand and slide down, fold over the pointed edges and tuck into your breast pocket.

Skin-friendly fabrics.

Choosing a garment that’s flattering and fits body and budget is not enough. Some fabrics actually irritate or harm skin. Bamboo, for instance, is treated with harsh chemicals during manufacture. Synthetics are the worst. Polyster, for instance, doesn’t breathe, traps odors, feeds bacteria and releases irritating chemical components and the latest wrinkle-resistant fabrics are treated with irritant formaldehyde. Natural fabrics like cotton, merino wool, cashmere, hemp, silk and linen are the most skin-friendly – of course we’re experts at cleaning and finishing natural for long life and crisp looks.
